The Cyber Swachhta Kendra (Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Center) is set up in accordance with the objective of the "National Cyber Security Policy" which envisages creating a secure cyber Eco system in the country. This center operated in close coordination and collaboration with Internet Service Provider and Product/Antivirus companies.
The Government of India has sketched out a 90 crore (INR) project for establishment of a Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Center, dubbed Cyber Swachhta Kendra. The Government will facility free antivirus software to mobile and computer users in the country.
The announcement by thr IT Minister Ravi Prasad. The Botnet Cleanning And Malware Analysis Center will collect detail about the system infected with botnet. It will work with the ISPs, who will have to identify the infected users, inform them, and help them eith a link to the Botnet Removal Center. The user will be facilitated with a Bot Removal Tool-Powered By Quick Heal.
M-Kvach and antivirus solution for mobile device is a part of the project which includes security tools like USB Pratiridh - a desktop access control application for connected storage devices, AppSamvid - and application whitelisting tools for Windows Os, and browser extension called Browser JSGuard.
